Burst.

Look at her hands,
Covered in crimson,
She stole his heart,
And ripped it apart.
There she stands,
Alone in the dark,
Until it gets cold,
And then it's hard to breathe.
So though she tries to run,
She can't get away,
From the lies that she told,
And the hearts that she mamed,
She cries in despair,
That he'll never know,
How she loved him too much,
But couldn't let go,
So she held on too tight,
But burst both hearts,
She tried to fix it,
It was just too hard,
To find a solution to a timeless problem,
It won't go away,
Only stay the same.
Yet she wouldn't change a thing,
For fear it could be worse,
She'll just let him think,
His heart was the only one
    Burst.

Something Like A Song.

So just throw me to the floor
 when you've destroyed me,
Use up every drip of blood
 and bone,
Burn up everything that once
 reminded me of home,
Because it's no use to me now,
No it means nothing somehow.
What's the saddest thing of all,
Is that you let me take the fall,
So much for the words that
 you once told me,
It counts for nothing now
That your riches have been found,
I know,
A heart of gold just doesn't
 pay the bills.
What I wonder now,
As I ache here on the ground
Is how you found the poison
 to hush every living sound,
Could it be your words of steal,
Or just the hatred you couldn't heal,
I guess it doesn't matter,
Since we're all still here,
In this place filled with darkness,
And no sense of direction,
It's going to be a long walk home,
And home might not still be
 there anymore.

Revolution

Another day ends
and the floods of tears come,
Boiling over lashes,
Hot and fierce,
What is there to do?
Nothing will help,
This won't ever end,
The constant battle with
 the enemy,
Condemned to feel this way,
Put down and forced to
 keep quiet.
But what if we say no?
Who will fight you then?
Who can you crush if we
 refuse?
Admit it,
You are nothing if there is
 no suffering,
So long as you are reassured,
That guarantee that is
 so precious,
That another's life is worse
 than that of your own,
Well what worries are left
 then?
All the fights have been fought,
All your followers have abandoned and
You are not indestructible it
 seems,
But broken and alone in the
 end,
And though we may cry now,
We know the end comes soon,
Because revolution is coming,
Revolution is here.

The Big Idea

Stop now,
Open your eyes,
Can't you see it?
All the bright light,
It's all around us,
If I can hear you,
See you,
In all this light,
The world can't be all bad,
Right?
Wrong.
Because a million things could
 happen between now and
  tomorrow,
I might sleep and dream happily.
What if I never wake up?
I might smile and laugh.
What if I choke?
I could blink out of habit.
What if I'm blind the next second?
Because the world tries to play
 fair,
But in the end it's not,
Because the world isn't
 always beautiful,
It lies and hides the truth,
It cheats you out of everything
 that matters,
And it steals those we love,
This has never been a secret,
It's not unraveling as I speak,
It's just a challenge that
 we face,
Something we must live through,
And if it's possible at all,
Live your life to make the most
 of your time,
So that if all else fails;
And believe me, it might;
At least you did your best,
To beat the world at it's own game.

The Wrong Turn.

Aim for the sky,
Yeah I remember those words,
But somewhere on the way,
I took the wrong turn,
And now I'm heading down,
Even though I know,
Soon I'll hit the ground.
So I think of ways to stop,
It's a pity I've no wings,
Just one of many things
 that didn't work,
And I can taste my tears
As I fall head over heels
Into the abyss of all
 my fears
Realise that someday,
One day this could be you,
Losing all your grip on life,
Not knowing what to do,
Yeah I thought the sky
 was up,
But it looks like I was
 wrong,
All I see is blue,
I was so sure I was
 Falling Down,
But I must be going up,
Past all the clouds,
Level with the stars,
Until I hit some pearly gates,
And I think,
This can't be right;
I took the wrong turn.

This Year Is Gone

Time has passed,
And nothing lasts,
It seems, forever,
It was good,
But now it's gone,
Just hold on,
To all the times,
When we smiled,
And laughed together,
It was good,
But I can bet,
It will get better,
Time has gone so fast,
It hurts,
With goodbyes come tears,
Yeah we'll cry,
I'm sure,
But with summer,
Comes the sun,
And we'll shine,
Brighter than ever,
I'll see you soon,
It won't be long,
It was good,
But I can bet,
It will get better.

Showing Your Flaws.

Have you ever looked around
and wondered where you really
are?
Where are you going?
You seem to be lost.
There's nowhere to go,
Not for you,
because you feel you shouldn't
be here,
But believe me, you're wrong,
You are where you are for a
reason,
And you'll get to where you
should be in good time,
Be patient, don't rush,
I'll meet you when you arrive,
I'll catch you when you feel you're
falling and I'll pick you up,
Even when you let go.
Don't feel you can't tell somebody,
You are not weak,
But stronger for showing your flaws,
Just never forget,
You're not alone,
We're all the same,
And I'll always stay here.
