Missing chances

And there she stood,
all alone in silence,
her arms crossed,
She looked as if in deep thought,
but what was she thinking?
I guess you'll never know,
because instead of asking how
she was, you walked right past,
as if she was nothing,
as if she was not of importantance,
as if you didn't love her.
Let's hope she knew deep down,
that if you had another chance,
you would go back and talk
to her for hours, walk her
home safely and promise to meet
her tomorrow,
She could've been the one.
But I guess you'll never know.
Seems sad in a way...
But you can't loose what
you never had, can you?
