One Day From Friday...

Road safety workshop.
We had it today in the TF and in fairness i never learned so much. I was scared out of my mind and i don't think I've ever cried amongst so many people in my entire life.
We were spoken to by the Gardai (Irish police), fire fighters, the ambulance service, a man disabled in a car accident a few years back and a mother who's daughter died in a car crash. It was heart rending. I think we walked away with a better view of what really happens at car crashes though and the effects of driving without a seat belt or being drunk. The outlook on my life is very different now.
TY3 are so epic we're in charge of doing our school yearbook this year!! So we're going to make it a brilliant one for sure! :) I was against it at first but I think it'll be fun in the end! Plus i had a great chat with Ciara Browne during the meeting!! Haha no one knows what I'm talking about so you better be reading this! :) And thanks for the encouragement about auditions, really.
Ok so art class, I am freaking out!! I need to practise or something! Anyone know any great artists? Let me know on FB or Twitter @areyoueventhere plus i need some serious ideas! :)

And Good Charlotte are just so epic! I envy my friend Niamh cause she somehow got lucky and got a ticket to the Kerrang! tour in Dublin this weekend!! Sickened I am if your reading this Niamh!! :)

Awkward Laughter...

Ok so as the title suggests, a few awkward moments happened today during my Peer 4 Peer training, when does it not in all fairness?
Lets just say it was about a drawing of a person that had my name and the lungs were badly positioned while also not being a lung shape... That's right you're thinking right, funny for everyone and embarrassing for me basically!! :)
My parent teacher meeting went well, I'm so surprised no one picked up on how much class time I miss thanks to art but i guess they just think we're working all the time... :)
I'm trying to get more into an artistic state of mind so i can sketch some better stuff and not look like a complete eijit next week in art portfolio class! But as usual, when i actually have the time to do art, my mind goes BLANK!
I'm thinking of doing some jewellery design... And i should seriously be doing more painting.
So i guess i should go, I really want to paint my nails (sounds stupid but it's one of my obsessions!!)
Tonight I'll put up some links or videos or something interesting!!

Artness!

I am in such a happy mood right now!!
I went and did this art portfolio preperation course today and am now full of madly creative ideas!
I'm still thinking of themes to go with and i seriously can't wait to start painting, designing and making loads of stuff! The excited state I'm in... It's kinda scary! But I don't care, the happiness right now is great!!
We started the Peer 4 Peer programme today which was much better than expected anyway!! :)
I learned aload about drugs and met new people from the three schools in our town! Good craic all in all to be honest!!
Meanwhile all that's going around in my mind is art...Art...ART!!!
So on that note i might put up a few small posts with pictures etc.
